Memorable Ice Cream Moments Art Contest

The Mid-Cape Cultural Council will hold a fund-raising “Memorable Ice Cream Moments” art contest for children and adults of all ages, featuring ice cream prizes from Four Seas Ice Cream in Centerville.

In this competition, contestants create a picture or write a poem to capture a memorable ice cream moment in their lives. Some examples include: a painting of your favorite sundae, a drawing of waiting in line for that first ice cream cone of the summer, a photo collage of multiple ways to enjoy ice cream, or a poem about why you like ice cream.

Entries must be two-dimensional artworks in any medium, e.g., photographs, collages, paintings or drawings, no bigger than 11- by 14-inches framed, or illustrated poems (hand-written or digital), mounted on board no larger than 10- by 12-inches. Judging will be based on expression of theme and originality. First, second and third prizes will be awarded in four age categories.
