LOS ANGELES (AP) — Bastille would love to put out new music. The problem— if you can call it that— is that their old music is still really popular. Singer Dan Smith says their “Bad Blood” album proved to be such a success that the band keeps touring because the demand is there. He says they’ve worked on new stuff and they are even testing out new songs in concert, but they are never home long enough to record another album. They also want to make sure they put out quality songs. Guitarist William Farquarson says even if “Bad Blood” was garbage, they wouldn’t want to make another garbage record just because they could.
