NEW YORK (AP) — Gwen Stefani was asked the question hundreds of contestants on “The Voice” have been asked: who do you want as a coach on the show? Stefani says that’s such a toughie, she won’t bother answering. She notes she has worked professionally with both Pharrell (fer-REHL’) Williams and Adam Levine. And she says while she has never worked with Blake Shelton, she thinks they have similar tastes in the type of music they like. Stefani says she hopes she will be able to work with Shelton — but adds that you shouldn’t take that to mean that if she were a “Voice” contestant, he’d be her choice.
