NEW YORK (AP) — “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons has become one of the rare songs to reach diamond status, or ten times platinum, according to The Recording Industry Association of America. A diamond award used to mean sales of ten million, but now that also includes streaming data. Nielsen Soundscan says “Radioactive” has sold 7.7 million tracks. The only other songs to have reached digital diamond status are Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” Justin Bieber’s “Baby” and Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” and “Not Afraid.” Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind 1997” is the only physical single to reach diamond status.
