LOS ANGELES (AP) — Imagine Dragons’ advice to making it big: say yes to every gig. Singer Dan Reynolds says they never turned down anything in their early days, including opening for a mime at a shopping mall. He says it was at about 10 in the morning and they played to about five people. Bassist Ben McKee says they played to a sea of empty white folding chairs. He says the mime was getting more confident in seeing Imagine Dragons flailing. Things are a lot different for Imagine Dragons now. They launch an arena tour today in Portland, Oregon.
