LOS ANGELES (AP) — The copyright trial involving Jay-Z and Timbaland is moving toward resolution. Testimony is expected to end by tomorrow — then an eight-member jury in Los Angeles will try to reach a decision. The rapper and producer are accused of improperly using flute notes from a 1950s Egyptian love ballad. Jay-Z and Timbaland say they got permission to use the music and that the nephew of the composer was paid for its use. Both artists testified during the proceedings.
