VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Jon Bon Jovi says what started out as an invitation to play in a park he likes turned into “something rather messy for a lot of folks.” Bon Jovi performed Saturday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver after his Stanley Park concert was canceled because of complications involving the promoter. Bon Jovi says he felt it was important to rebook the concert, even though it involved some last-minute scrambles, because he didn’t want to disappoint fans. The concert was a kickoff for the new Bon Jovi album, “Burning Bridges,” and the title track tells another story in Bon Jovi’s life. According to Billboard magazine, the song is Bon Jovi’s scathing farewell anthem to Mercury Records after a 32-year relationship.
