LOS ANGELES (AP) —The voice and face of Motorhead has died. His agent says Lemmy died yesterday in Los Angeles after a brief battle with an aggressive form of cancer. Though he was easily recognized by his mustache, mutton chops and the mole on his face — he was more than just a rock persona. He was respected as a musical innovator. He was also known for the way he opened Motorhead’s live shows: “We are Motorhead! We play rock and roll.”
