LONDON (AP) — One Direction may be heading in the direction of a breakup. That’s the word from a London newspaper, anyway. The Sun reports the boy band will take time off from each other for at least a year after they finish their current tour this fall — and promote their new album. Speculation about a split grew after Zayn Malik (MAHL’-ik) quit the group earlier this year. But the other members of the group said they would soldier on without him. A publicist for the group dismisses the Sun report as “speculation” and says he won’t comment on it as such.
