TORONTO (AP) — Pentatonix have put their own spin on songs by Daft Punk, Nicki Minaj and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, but there’s one act they just can’t touch: Taylor Swift. Singer Kevin Olusola (oh-LOO’-shoh-lah) says they’ve tried but they can’t make Swift songs work with their sound. He says they also tried to do “Madness” by Muse and it came out sounding monotonous. Olusola says they accept that not every song can get the Pentatonix treatment and they move on. Pentatonix are currently touring the U.S. and hope to have another studio album out by spring. Olusola recently released a solo EP, “Renegade.”
