MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Theory Of A Deadman are sending their best wishes to three people who were injured when the ceiling partially collapsed during their concert Wednesday in Minneapolis. A 20-by-30 foot section of the ceiling fell and brought down the sprinkler pipe at the First Avenue club with about 750 in attendance. The injuries to the three people are not life-threatening. Theory Of A Deadman have posted a Facebook message thanking the emergency responders and wishing First Avenue a quick turnaround so it can open again. Engineers have not found a cause for the collapse other than age. The building opened in 1937. Prince filmed a lot of his “Purple Rain” movie at First Avenue.
