LOS ANGELES (AP) — Wouldn’t you know it: Motley Crue performs for the last time ever and Tommy Lee’s roller coaster drum kit malfunctions. Motley Crue performed their farewell concert in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. Lee’s drum kit nearly made the complete circuit when it got stuck with Lee upside down. Roadies had to climb up the track to let him out. To his credit, he kept playing to the end of the song. He shouted out an expletive and said, “I guess we broke it.” Motley Crue filmed the show for a DVD release later this year.
